Dominican Republic Mission Trip – Summer 2025

Serving Jarabacoa with the Love of Christ

This June, Friesland Community Church is sending a team of 10 people back to Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic to partner with Mission of Hope and Pastor Yeudi’s church in sharing the Gospel and serving those in need.

What We’ll Be Doing
Our team will be:

Building a Concrete Roof for the home of a widowed mother, helping provide a safer, more stable future for her and her daughter.
Visiting Homes in the Community, listening to stories, building relationships, and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.
Hosting a Kids Club, where local children will hear the Gospel and experience the joy of Christ through games, music, and fun.

2024 Mission Trip Recap

June 5th through the 12th, 2024, we sent a team of short-term missionaries to Jarabacoa Dominican Republic with Mission of Hope. Through your generous support and prayers, we were able to partner with a local church and serve them and the local villagers. We thank God for how He moved during that week and continue to pray God moves in the Dominican Republic!

Mission of Hope

Mission of Hope is our mission partner in the Dominican. As an organization following Jesus Christ, Mission of Hope exists to bring life transformation to every man, woman, and child. They got their start in Haiti but have now expanded this mission to the whole island of Hispaniola. They partner with churches both in the Dominican and North America to help churches help each other share the Gospel and bring life transformation to every man woman and child. We are excited to have them as a partner so we can connect with others in the Dominican through the local church there. We look to help the local church in the Dominican further The Great Commission in the Dominican. We will be doing work projects to help the local church and also going out into the community ourselves to share the Gospel as well with Strategic Ministry Time.
